One of the classical earmarks of Elmer Fudds is behavior that's dictated
by his sexual dysfunctional difficulties is an overwhelming desire to
make his surrogate penis stand out in a crowd of normal people's vehicles.
The phenomena you see here is something you can see in any parking lot
across the United States:
- Elmers park their surrogate penis backed in. Elmers usually tell
themselves that they need to back in because it's some how easier to leave
the parking lot without having to back into the street when they leave.
The fact that they're backing up anyway when they park negates the Elmer
notion however the real reason that Elmers back in to park is because
they want their surrogate penis to stand out -- literally as well as
symbolically.
- Elmers take up more than one parking space. Elmers usually explain
this anti-social behavior by telling themselves that they need to take up
more than one parking space because their vehicles are too big to fit into
one space. They'll also try to convince themselves that they need to take
more than one space to avoid damaging their surrogate penis' paint. The
fact that parking spaces are almost always large enough for their gas
guzzlers is denied.
And there's another phenomena that's not captured in this photograph:
- Elmers often park slanted taking up more than one parking space.
Elmers usually explain this anti-social behavior to themselves by claiming
their vehicles are too big to fit straight in and will stick out however
an examination of slant-parking Elmers nearly always shows that these
Elmers will not pull forward or back all the way into a parking space;
they'll deliberately stick out in an additional effort to try to make
their surrogate penis stand out.
Also in the photograph you'll find another phenomena in car "C."
Here we have a "Secondary" Elmer Fudd who lacks a surrogate
penis but notices vehicle "B" and decided to also park backed
in. The difference being that the Secondary wannabe decided not to take
up more than one parking space. As noted elsewhere on the Stop Elmer Fudd
web site, Primary Elmer Fudds that can't park often draw Secondary Elmers
and Solitary Elmers who park as dysfunctionally as the Primary.
