Off Road Elmers 1-9

North 34.14.305' by West 117.51.500' 1491 feet

Here we are looking down into the canyon floor to the right of the previous photograph which showed some Off Road Elmers. As in the previous photograph we can see where Elmers have scrubbed the foor of all life right up against the actual river which is protected a little bit from Elmer's vehicles.

The U. S. Forest Service and various contruction companies have placed large rocks along much of the river in an attempt to keep their Elmers from completely killing all the life in the canyon, but there are places along the river that are unprotected and a typical Elmer behavioral trait is to drive over the unprotected spots over and over again.

The behavior modes which motivates Off Road Elmers to repeatedly drive through creeks, streams, and rivers are numerous however the primary factor involved is a desire to subdue, subvert, and otherwise destroy Mother Nature in an attempt to prove to themselves that they're "real men" at last. If they can show Nature that they can ford mighty rivers like the San Gabriel River (all three inches deep and four feet wide of it) they've proven to themselves that they and their surrogate penis are the stronger.
