Hi

Reading your WebPages reminded me of a meeting with the driver of a large four wheel drive vehicle complete with bullbars. I live in the UK so he may not have been a true Elmer.

I was looking for a place to go fishing at the time in a remote area on a single track road leading up to a hotel, either side of the road was short sheep grazed grass.

I drove my car along a five door saloon, and met this guy about halfway along the track. He stopped and just sat there, so I drove off the track to go round his monster car, the look of relief on his face had me totally confused.

It has puzzled me ever since why he bought a car that would happily cross deserts, tundra, snow fields ect, yet he had a problem driving it over a few metres of sheep munched grass.
